5 years since my last visit exelent as expected . last time I visited I bought 6 fish plates. Very impressive still got them.staff very efficient the restaurant clean and bright be back (asap) Claude. Leadhills.
A good chippy / ice cream parlour serves all the stuff you'd expect and does very good coffee only slight complaint being if you go for a chippy tea at the end of the week everything tastes if fried chicken no matter what it is.
Sit in or take out fish and chips, really nice top chippy. Also has a great selection of ice cream. I am sure it does gluten free on a Wednesday.
Waited to be served for 20 minutes while several members of staff passed us - there was one other table occupied.I also watched a member of staff prepare a dessert then lick cream off of her fingers. We've eaten there several times and the food is delicious - the service was non existent so we went elsewhere.
Excellent produce whether it's ice cream from their huge selection, traditional fish and chip cafe fare or sitting in for a fish tea. Try their special fish done in bread crumbs one of the very few places around where you can get breaded fish : it's wonderful. Staff are really pleasant and service is first class.
