Nice, but you should be allowed to bring food in!
Great little theatre with friendly helpful staff. The Robert Burns film theatre shows movies of all kinds from main stream to art house and everything in between. There is a film club on Mondays and movies for families and people with additional support needs. It's also possible to hire the theatre for private parties and also viewings. All in all a great place.
My review might be subjective as I used to run this cinema, but I think this is the best little cinema in Scotland. Friendly, cosy, eclectic programme and the nicest staff ever. It's a gem.

Really nice experience. Staff exceptionally friendly and very knowledgable. Great location, a short walk from the centre of Dumfries. Has very good restaurant, serving good Home made food. Good coffee. Great views too.
