Awesome historical Church. The Original, which was nearby just SE of here, is where the Red Comyn was treacherously and cowardously assassinated by Robert "Longshanks" Bruce and his hired assassin Sir Kirkpatrick, in an evil English plot to destabilize Scotland on February 10, 1328 (year needs checking). There is an historic society plaque where the original church, which was burned and buried because this disgraceful deed was perpetrated inside, once stood - just SE on the circle.
