I had the 6 lunch menu main course a 10oz Gammon steak with an egg, sweet potato chips and garden peas and it was all lovely. I have eaten there several times before and it has always been a good experience. I've only eaten at lunchtimes and occasionally the service can be a little slow but but the staff are all friendly and helpful and the food is good.In particular my Gammon was about an inch thick and was moist and tender and the sweet potato fries were delicious and the egg was well cooked with a soft but not too runny yolk
Steak meal deal two for twenty two pounds including a bottle of wine.. Steak was delicious.. The rum baba for pudding was amazing, would thoroughly recommend.. Forgot to take pic of steak... But took pic of pudding... Delicious
Nice cosy welcoming atmosphere. Lovely staff. We had a great table next to the small indoor kids play area. It was a small area but kept our 2 year old and 5 year old happy enough. Menu looked amazing and whilst the food was good it didn't quite live up to how it was described on the menu. Would definitely return.
Always get well fed here and the prices are very reasonable. 3 chicken sliders is worth a try as is the mixed grill if you can eat a lot. Also buttermilk chicken burger and tiger tops. Friendly staff too.
Had low expectations of this chain pub. So was pleasantly surprised by the great menu, the lovely food and the attentive friendly staff, tho it was on a week day lunchtime. But also surprised that we didn't need to leave the dogs at home as they have a dog friendly section that's a big thumbs up from us, we'll bring them next time!!
