Not the nearest pub to me, but I consider it to be my local. The staff are a credit. They are always friendly and serve with a smile. They have a great selection of real ales if you are a CAMRA fan.
Very nice experience. Food was excellent and the service also. The member of staff who served me was very friendly. Lady with long hair, didn't catch her name
Has always been great place to visit. Large open plan building with balcony area upstairs and covered outdoor smoking area. Well stocked bar offering vast range of drinks.Food service was a little disappointing as when our food arrived had to ask 3 times to get full order. Seemed little short on staff on this visit as most of tables still had dirty plates or glasses on them. Visited lots of Wetherspoons and always enjoy my visits but I have yet to find one that does not serve burnt onion rings.
Typical very busy pub/restaurant. Good breakfast choices. Fish & chips were just ok, not for us though. Great burgers. Good steak deals. Pizzas simply the best, probably why they ran out on Thursday evening. Staff very friendly, ran off their feet but great service. Our favourite place to dine out in Dumfries.
Nicely converted heritage building in a convenient location. Good standard of decor and comfort. Choice of seating, with a tiled bar area with high tables, raised seating area round to the left, and some additional places upstairs. Download the app to order and pay from your table. Great prices, good choice of real ales, and food served until 23:00.
